This book examines the performance of Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT) and Google Translate in translating educational texts at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT). Unlike most previous studies that focus either on Artificial intelligence (AI) tools in isolation or compare them with non-AI alternatives, this study uniquely compares generative AI such as ChatGPT with responsive AI such as Google Translate, particularly in the field of education. The study aims to understand the impact of these AI tools on translation teaching techniques and student learning. ChatGPT and Google Translate were evaluated based on their accuracy, ease of use, and their effect on students' learning efficiency in specific. The evaluation was passed on punctuation and diacritics, use of connective words, sentence structure, general accuracy, and metaphors & cultural expressions.
