Produktbeschreibung
Vicente Alexim is a Brazilian clarinetist, composer, and arranger who, despite his young age, has been making a name for himself on the national and international music scene. As a composer, he has written works for clarinet, piano, soprano, chamber orchestra, and symphony orchestra. His "Chamber Concerto for Clarinet in B-flat and Orchestra," composed in 2008, is the subject of this research. The main objective of this proposal was to provide an interpretive conception for the concerto, considering Robert Morris's approach to Contour Theory and the structural analysis of the work. The analysis carried out, the literature, and the technique of the clarinet contributed to the interpretive approach of the concerto, considering its structural and compositional unity. There are still few works that deal with interpretive issues of works from the Brazilian repertoire for clarinet. Therefore, this work will serve as a reference for performers interested in this concerto and may also serve as a basis for the study of related works, contributing to and expanding the literature on the subject.
