With a background steeped in the vibrant culture of New York, John is the author of three short stories under the Coney Island Boys series, which have now culminated in the full-length novel Coney Island Boys - The Complete Story. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens during the early 1960s, John witnessed the gritty realities of gang life firsthand, shaping his understanding of loyalty, violence, and family-core themes that run throughout his writing. His personal experiences of New York's diverse neighborhoods provide an authentic and raw backdrop for his stories, where the struggles of life in the streets are as much a part of the narrative as the characters themselves.
