The book compiles the author's essays and articles concerning contemporary conflicts and wars in the Eastern Mediterranean, Ukraine, and other parts of the world. The writer argues that military power, rather than a rules-based order, continues to shape global events. At its core is a moral contrast between power-driven realpolitik, associated with Henry Kissinger, and justice-centered diplomacy, inspired by Martin Luther King Jr., which frames the book's geopolitical analysis.
