What if everything you believed about your life ... WAS A LIE? How far would YOU go to uncover the TRUTH? For Diana Kayla Hochberg, a casual conversation in Las Vegas leads to shocking revelations that turn her world upside down, sending her on an extraordinary journey spanning decades and continents. Determined to uncover the truth about her past, Diana unearths long-buried family secrets. Each new discovery draws her closer to the answers she seeks - but at a cost she could never have anticipated. Blending memoir, mystery, genealogy, and investigative journalism,Connected: Finding My Truth is a powerful story of resilience, and the sacrifices one woman made to discover her true identity. What began so simply - a casual remark over lunch in Las Vegas - spiraled into a journey that would change my life forever. Twenty-nine years of doubt, disappointment, and relentless research led me through a labyrinth of secrets: the black-market baby trade, corrupt government systems, the Mafia, and even the CIA. Every thread I pulled unraveled a deeper web of power, money, and deception. I came to understand that corruption wasn't an anomaly - it was the cost of doing business, accepted by every political party and high-ranking official.
