The DRC has been suffering for decades from growing food insecurity, and this risks becoming a legacy for generations if it is weakly tackled by the Congolese nation through its policy of combating it, despite the fact that the United Nations is aiming to eliminate hunger in the world by 2030 in order to achieve the sustainable development goalsset since 2015.Moreover, the country, with its vast, poorly exploited land, is capable of developing all the agricultural strategies needed to meet the food requirements of its people and those of other countries suffering from the same precariousness. It is paradoxical that a country like this should adopt the strategy of importing foodstuffs instead of producing in its own soil, so envied by other countries.
