The thing about the past is that it is like a book. You can choose to pick it up and read it - to travel back in time, and stay in between the margins of the past. Or you choose to leave it behind. To close the book, and keep it on your bookshelf as solely a reminder of all you once were. To look at it every once in a while, maybe even tempted to reach for it again, and know exactly that each past version of you is a part of who you are now. Woven into the strings of your heart and echoing in your soul.

Autorenporträt
Elisa has always lived with one foot in reality and the other in the worlds made from words. Growing up in a quiet corner of southwest Germany, she learned that stories could be both a refuge and a compass, guiding her through moments when life felt too heavy to bear. Writing became the place where she could turn her ache into something beautiful. Her stories linger between sorrow and solace, between darkness and light - crafted not only for herself but for anyone who might need them. She believes that somewhere, someone waits for her words to untangle the knots in their heart. Now twenty, she studies English Literature at university, continuing to explore the endless ways narratives can connect and heal. When not writing, Elisa can usually be found lost in romance novels, binge-watching her favorite shows, or curled up with her pup, savoring the quiet comfort of home.
