William Kennedy is a prominent HIV activist. He has dedicated his life to combating the stigma associated with the condition. He has worked with national and local HIV support organisations. He also founded the support group Positive Cork. Will is open and out about both his sexuality and his HIV status. At 66 years of age, he continues to advocate for the rights and well-being of the LBGT+ community, and all those living with HIV. He enjoys reading, hillwalking, and knitting among many other pastimes. He is an active member of his own LBGT+ community in his home city of Cork.
