Autorenporträt
Nasrah Nefer ist eine deutsch-ägyptische interdisziplinäre Künstlerin, Kuratorin und Gründerin der Lumen Art Gallery, deren Arbeit Bildende Kunst, Bewegung, Literatur und Philosophie miteinander verbindet. Sie studierte Freie Kunst in Italien und Deutschland sowie Ägyptologie, Archäologie und Islamwissenschaften an der Universität - eine Ausbildung, die intellektuelle Tiefe mit einer intuitiven, poetischen Sensibilität vereint. Ihr künstlerischer Weg ist geprägt von der Verbindung zweier kultureller Welten - der europäischen und der nahöstlichen -, deren Spannungsfeld ihre Auseinandersetzung mit Identität, Erinnerung und metaphysischen Räumen inspiriert. Im Verlauf ihrer Laufbahn präsentierte sie 24 Einzelausstellungen und nahm an rund 40 internationalen Gruppenausstellungen teil, unter anderem in der Türkei, Italien, Spanien, den USA, dem Vereinigten Königreich, Deutschland und den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Als Absolventin einer neunjährigen professionellen Tanzausbildung betrachtet Nasrah Malerei als eine Choreografie aus Gedanke und Gefühl. Ihre Leinwände entstehen aus einem inneren Dialog - einer Synthese aus bewusstem und unbewusstem Bilddenken, in der Rhythmus, Geste und Stille eine Einheit bilden. Mit der Gründung und künstlerischen Leitung der Lumen Art Gallery hat sie eine internationale Plattform geschaffen, die Künstler über Grenzen hinweg durch Ausstellungen, Publikationen und gemeinsame Projekte verbindet. Mit Initiativen wie Contemporary Masterstrokes Unveiled, The Impossibles und Faces of Love baut sie weiterhin kulturelle Brücken - getragen von ihrer Überzeugung, dass Kunst ein lebendiger Dialog ist, der Verstand, Intuition und den menschlichen Geist miteinander vereint.
