Greetings Readers:

I'm Katie O'Connor. No, that's not my real name, just in case you wondered!

I live in a large city in Western Canada. I married my high school sweetheart and I am living my happily ever after. I am a proud mother and grandmother. I have two great sons-in-law and a large support network of friends, family and fellow authors.

I believe in dragons, fairies, UFOs, ghosts, and house pixies and a whole lot of other weird and offbeat things. My greatest asset is my vivid imagination.

I have dabbled in writing since just after high school. There is some part of me that drives me to create stories and write them down. It is impossible for me NOT to write. I think my head would explode if I kept all those ideas trapped inside. I even dream story lines. I have thought about keeping a notebook beside my bed so I can start writing the ideas down. But then again, maybe not because some of those dreams seem like fabulous stories while I am dreaming, but are a little suspect on closer examination under daylight. My mind is a very busy place and the ideas just keep on coming. I have to jot them down somewhere, so my laptop is full of partially completed stories, stories in progress and dozens of idea files.

Over the years, I have been a waitress, cashier, chambermaid, day home provider and a lab and x-ray technician. It took a long time for me to discover that writing is my passion. At one point, I took some computer programing classes, but alas computers and I are not compatible.

I've tried my hand at writing poetry, science fiction, adventures and romance novels. But my passion is, and always has been romance and erotica. I just had to dig deep and give myself permission to write those naughty bits. My parents know what I do, but I have told my mother that she will never-ever-ever read my erotica. Can you just imagine? I would die. And good lord, don't ever tell the reprobates my husband plays lacrosse with my pen name!

I want to publish a mixed genre novel. It is going to be an erotic, shape shifter, vampire, steampunk, sci-fi, murder mystery, adventure, romantic, western, historical thriller. It will be my biography.
