Critical reflection is an important tool for teachers who are committed to the quality of their teaching. Professionals who are willing to improve their performance and perfect their educational practice through a reflective process. However, in order for this process (Describe/Inform/Confront/Reconstruct) to be successful, the educator must first understand how knowledge acquisition works and consider the heterogeneity present in their classes.
