Deborah Cooley Segal is a California Native, budding entrepreneur, and mother of two college age kids. She recently retired after 31 years of teaching elementary school, so she could pursue some of her many other interests. One of her lifelong goals has always been to publish her own children's book. Teaching students to foster a love of reading as well as express themselves through written and visual art were always some of her favorite things to teach. It seemed only natural to put those skills to work on her own project. Critter Countdown is her first book, and she is eager to hear what you think.
