New expanded edition of the reference work on hypersensitivity. Around twenty percent of people perceive things much more intensely than others. And for many of them, this special gift of hypersensitivity is a burden. Their environment also tends to react with a lack of understanding: "do you always have to be so sensitive?" This successful practical guide by Rolf Sellin helps hypersensitive people understand why they are "different. " In addition, the author gives them the keys to overcoming obstacles that may arise in their private and professional lives and to harnessing their potential. In this way, he offers answers to the big question that every hypersensitive person asks themselves at some point: "how can I manage my hypersensitivity?" To do this, Sellin goes beyond describing the phenomenon and provides readers with a whole range of possibilities and methods for constructively managing perception. After all, perception is the greatest gift of hypersensitive people. Throughout these pages, you will find reflections, experiments, self-assessments, and proven methods that help foster this quality. In addition to updates to each section, this new edition contains an additional chapter with other proven methods for controlling perception in three problematic situations that hypersensitive people often encounter.
