D. M. Glover's journey to becoming an author was a winding road paved with life's challenges. As a young mother, she felt a strong calling to write but the demands of family and caring for her sick husband often overshadowed her aspirations. It wasn't until after her husband's passing that she found the necessary time and emotional space to pursue her passion. Glover grew up in historic Freehold, New Jersey, but history just wasn't her thing. History was actually her academic nemesis, forcing her to endure the torturous experience of summer school her junior year. She would never have believed that she would grow up to write historical fiction.Inspired by her family's military heritage and a desire to preserve history for her grandchildren, Glover began crafting the Culver's Cove series.
