Placide-Macaire KUMPEL is a researcher in agrarian systems and sustainable forest management. He holds a DES in Environmental Sciences and Management and a degree in Rural Development, and is preparing a doctorate at the University of Kinshasa. He specializes in customary land governance and climate adaptation in local communities.
