Libby Sternberg is an award-winning novelist and literary scholar whose work reimagines classic stories with depth and originality. An Edgar finalist and twice a BookLife quarter-finalist, Sternberg has crafted a distinguished career in historical and literary fiction. Her novel Daisy, a feminist retelling of The Great Gatsby, has been hailed as "original and charming" (Booklist) and "stunning and beautifully crafted" (Reedsy Discovery). Recognized as an authority on Fitzgerald's work, Sternberg has immersed herself in his writings, from Trimalchio to The Crack-Up, producing thoughtful analyses and inventive interpretations. Her previous retelling, Sloane Hall, was one of only 14 books highlighted by HuffPost on the 200th anniversary of Jane Eyre.
