Ashley King graduated from Coventry University with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Illustration and Animation. Ashley has illustrated three middle-grade fiction titles in the UK: Erica's Elephant, The Bookshop Girl , and Kaye Umansky's Witch for a Week. Lazy Daisy was his first picture book. Caz Goodwin is an award-winning author who writes picture books, short stories, poetry, and junior fiction. Her work has been published internationally and illustrated by Gus Gordon, Ashley King, Kerry Millard, Low Joo Hong, and others. She also heads the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) in Victoria.
