Dan the Drone: Had His Head in His Phone By Terry Ayrault Dan is on his phone so much, he misses out on everything that makes life great. He misses fireworks, seeing Santa Claus, discovering Bigfoot and all kinds of birthday party fun. Then, one day, Dan really gets stuck in his phone. In a panic, he races home to get help from his brother, Frank. That's when Dan starts to realize he might be missing more than just the cool stuff in life, he might be missing out on much, much more. With colorful illustrations, playful rhymes, and a gentle message, Dan the Drone: Had His Head in His Phone helps children understand the importance of looking up, staying present, and making real-world connections. Perfect for ages 4-8, this story sparks conversations about screen time, friendship, and the joy of unplugging. A delightful read for families, classrooms, and Storytime, Dan's tale is a humorous reminder for little ones (and grown-ups, too!) that the best adventures don't always happen on a screen-they happen when you look up.
