It's summer. The sun is shining, the grass is green, the bees are buzzing, and the singing sounds of children laughing ring merrily across the neighborhood. Dandelion Soup is an echo of fond memories spent in the backyard: enjoying the fresh air, playing with sticks, and embracing the good and evil of siblings. It's an endearing story that not only reminds us of simple, sweet summer days outside, but of patience and empathy, and how even in failure, we can still succeed. Dandelion Soup is a story of a young girl playing in her backyard when something, or someone, ruins her fun. But in her most vulnerable moment, she realizes that even monsters make mistakes, and that despite her setback, she can still find joy.
