The source material for this book has been gathered from the photo collections of former members of the unit and includes a large number of previously unpublished images.
Autorenporträt
Jens is 57 years old and lives in Aarhus, Jutland. He has four grown-up children and a grandchild. He had a family member who joined the Waffen-SS in 1943 and was reported missing in Russia in 1944. For the past 20 years, he has spent a lot of his spare time finding out what happened to him and other Danes who still were missing from the Second World War. As a result, he has met approximately 20 of the old volunteers.
