Gary R Hamilton is the author of The Fixer. He was born in England and moved to Jamaica at a young age. A self-professed technology geek, he is also a romantic, so it is not surprising that he loved the white hat cowboy heroes of Louis L'Amour, insatiably devoured the technically detailed historical novels of Robert Ludlum, and has worked in the IT industry for three decades. Caribbean culture has left an indelible mark on Gary, and he is fascinated by its recent history, inexorably guiding him to writing about it. Gary is married with two daughters, and lives in the UK.
