There is a prayer I particularly appreciate. "Lord, thank you for these hands to do my work. May the work of my hands reflect my love for You." I love writing, researching to write a new book, creating an interesting plot, and developing my characters. That love is a gift from a benevolent and loving God. Wanting to bless people with a book that is painfully human, exciting, and touches on some of the most primal emotions of the human psyche, I get up each morning ready to get to work. Cathy and I were married in 1974, have three children and ten grandchildren, and I want those grandchildren to grow up reading my work!
