Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and non-participant observations. O Sr. Muhammad Asif é um professor de surdos que trabalha neste domínio desde 2000. Tem dois mestrados, incluindo o Mestrado em Educação Especial com especialização em Deficiência Auditiva (Paquistão) e o Mestrado/Mestrado em Educação Especial Nees (Europa). Atualmente, trabalha como professor sénior numa escola secundária superior para alunos surdos no Paquistão.
