DDL Smith är en romanförfattare baserad i London. Med en bakgrund inom manusförfattande och kortfilm utvecklade han tidigt en kärlek till dialog som skär skarpt. Utanför sidorna är DDL en nattuggla som skriver med hjälp av kaffe; ofta drömmer han fram berättelser under resor genom städer från New York till Stockholm till Seoul. Han finner glädje i att omtolka människans nyfikenhet i samtida miljöer.
