El autor es licenciado en Medicina por la Facultad de Medicina de Nepalgunj (Nepal) y el Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud B.P. Koirala, donde completó sus estudios de posgrado en 2009 y 2014, respectivamente. Ha trabajado como profesor en la Facultad de Medicina de Nepal y como coordinador clínico en el Centro Avanzado de Trastornos del Sueño de Chattanooga, Tennessee (EE. UU.). Actualmente trabaja como psiquiatra consultor en Nepal.
