Christie Cognevich is a writer from New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned a PhD in English literature from Louisiana State University and an MFA in writing for children and young adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She taught literature, composition, and creative writing at the high school and university level for over a decade and now works in library services.
