K.C. Korfmann, author/photographer behind the Beliefs anthology, has returned with another stellar photography book. Korfmann is a new voice in the world of photography. Born and raised in the United States, he moved to Switzerland in 1969, shortly after completing his law studies. He began experimenting with photography in his early teenage years, using various equipment and 35 mm film. In the 1980s, he acquired an 8x10 inch field camera and was individually mentored by a number of established photographers. Among the artists whose work has influenced him stand the classic masters - Eugene Atget, Edward Weston, Ansel Adams and Paul Strand - but also other lesser-well-known content creators, whose projects, like Korfmann's, display a talent that has yet to be recognized by the mainstream.
Autorenporträt
