Born in East Orange, New Jersey, the author grew up in the nearby town of Bloomfield. After college and a stint in the U.S. Navy, the author settled on a career with the U.S. government. In 2015, he produced his first novel, Danc’n to the Bosun’s Whistle, after his eldest son joined the U.S. Navy. His next novel, The Puddle Jumpers was written in 2019, and Descent of the Glow Worms began on a plane ride to Hawaii. In his spare time, the author enjoys playing backgammon online and flying kites in South Texas where he currently resides.
