The Renewable Energy Resources are going to be the future energy source for the human activities on Earth, when all the conventional fossil fuel resources vanish due to their cruel and unrelenting treatment by the Earth's population. With respect to this, many Countries and Organisations are continuously introducing Renewable Energy Generation Technologies into the worldwide market, to reduce the consumption of conventional fossil fuels and stop its effects on the Earth's atmosphere to grow uncontrollably. In the presented work a literature review has been done with respect to the Tidal Energy Power Generation Systems. Aspects as technologies, schemes, environmental and economical issues, control strategies, undertaken projects, etc. have been referred to in the first part of the dissertation, the Literature Review. The second part deals with a model which has been designed and simulated in software of National Instruments, Multisim and LabVIEW.
