Autorenporträt
Seongwoo Woo is currently working at the Ethiopian Technical University, Ethiopia. He has a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering and has obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M. His areas of expertise are in energy systems such as HVAC and heat transfer, optimal design and control of refrigerators, reliability design of thermal components, and failure analysis of thermal components. From 1992 to 1997, Dr. Woo worked at the Agency for Defense Development, Chinhae, South Korea, where he was a researcher in charge of the Development of the Naval Weapons System. Previous to that, he was a Senior Reliability Engineer in the Refrigerator Division and Digital Appliance at SAMSUNG Electronics.
