But a chance encounter with Brie, a Desulti assassin, awakens a hunger in Tove. She'd seen Brie fight. The Desulti was a small woman, like Tove, but Tove doubted Brie ever felt small. Not like Tove did. When Brie offers her a chance to be the first Alle'oss woman to join the Desulti, she can't believe her luck. But the secretive order of women is not the haven she expects. Can Tove find what she seeks, or is she a pawn in a scheme that could end her life and destroy the Alle'oss rebellion?
Ross Hightower and Deb Heim have been partners in crime for nearly forty years. While Ross built a career as a professor and Deb worked on four advanced degrees, they managed to raise two wonderful people and launch them into the world. When Ross started writing his first novel, Spirit Sight, they never dreamed they would work together, but after a rocky beginning, they discovered they loved writing together. It took a few beers, many intense conversations, and a few arguments to produce Desulti, the second prequel novel in the Spirit Song series. There will be many more to come.
