Obteve a sua primeira licenciatura em farmácia em 2001 pela Universidade Médica Tamilnadu Dr. MGR, Índia, e a sua pós-graduação em farmácia em 2007 pela Universidade Médica Tamilnadu Dr. MGR, Índia. Tem a seu crédito mais de 88 publicações científicas em revistas internacionais e nacionais.
