In this work, a structured methodology and a vector-based process indicator are developed to evaluate value creation within production processes on construction sites. For empirical evaluation, Hendrik Jonitz conducts extensive field experiments on two different construction sites as well as within a precast concrete plant. In this context, positional data for materials and personnel, as well as operational data from construction cranes, are used for the value creation analysis of 64 precast assembly processes and 54 intralogistics processes. Produktbeschreibung
The results form a comprehensive knowledge base on value creation in the context of production processes on construction sites and thus provide practical and research-relevant starting points for the optimization of these processes. The Author Hendrik Jonitz earned his doctorate under Univ.-Prof. Dr. mont. Dr.-Ing. habil. Eva-Maria Kern and Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Braml at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. His research focuses on the engineering and organizational science-based investigation of construction processes. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence. A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content. This book is a translation of an original German edition. The translation was done with the help of artificial intelligence (machine translation by the service DeepL.com). A subsequent human revision was done primarily in terms of content, so that the book will read stylistically differently from a conventional translation.
