El Dr. Deepjyoti Mech trabaja actualmente como profesor asistente en el Departamento de Ingeniería Petrolera de la Universidad de la Presidencia, Bengaluru, India, desde 2018. Obtuvo su doctorado en Ingeniería del Petróleo en IIT Madras, Chennai; M.Tech en Exploración y Producción de Petróleo y B.E en Ingeniería Mecánica en la Universidad de Dibrugarh.
