Dave Hone (Author) Dr. Dave Hone is a palaeontologist working primarily on dinosaur behaviour and ecology. He has named new species, looked at locomotion and evolutionary patterns and he also researches some other ancient reptile groups, especially pterosaurs. He is a senior lecturer in zoology at Queen Mary University of London in the UK and has been studying and teaching biology his whole adult life. In addition to writing books, David hosts the podcast, Terrible Lizards. He maintains several blogs, including Lost Worlds Revisited on The Guardian. He has been a consultant for various TV shows and regularly gives public talks on his research. Dave Smith (Illustrator) Dave Smith is an illustrator (or "Professional Doodler" to his friends) and enjoys drawing things that make him, and other people, laugh. He also plays the drums, strums a guitar (pretty badly), and has an unhealthy enthusiasm for elderly German campervans. When colouring-in he never goes over the lines. Well, almost never... He lives and works in Devon, with his two children and a nutty Spaniel.
