Uttam K. Roy est professeur adjoint au département des technologies de l'information de l'université Jadavpur, à Calcutta, en Inde. Il a obtenu son doctorat en ingénierie dans cette même université et possède près de 14 ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement. Il a publié deux manuels intitulés ' Web Technologies ' et ' Advanced Java Programming ', ainsi que de nombreux articles de recherche.
