Graduate of the Biological Sciences programme at the State University of Maranhão (UEMA). Works in botany with an emphasis on floristics, taxonomy and ecology of Leguminosae. FAPEMA/CNPq Scientific Initiation Scholarship recipient. Member of the Plant Biology Laboratory (LABIVE) and the RBCEM Research Centre.
