Ann Weil is the author of many books for children and young adults. She grew up in New York City and worked in publishing as a senior editor before beginning her writing career in the 1990s. She travelled the world with a laptop in her backpack, writing her way around Australia and New Zealand for a few years before returning to the US to raise her daughter. She now lives and works from home in a rural corner of New Hampshire, USA.
