Moving for a young person can be scary. This book walks through the process with a young girl, as she becomes more comfortable with her new neighborhood. Neighbors hint at what they offer, with cupped hand, to their children to make them feel loved. The laughter shared between parent and child is surely contagious. What is "it" that makes them laugh? The mother of the little girl figures it out and offers her cupped hand to reveal just what "it" is!!

Autorenporträt
Hi there! My name is Christine Thibodeaux, from a small town in Louisiana. I'm sure you already guessed that by last name. I had absolutely no writing experience but wrote this little book in no time. I just had to share this special experience between two people that love each other. For over 40 years, I've asked the question "Do you want one of these" to the children in my life. The joy of looking at their little faces as they walk towards my cupped hand has been wonderful. As years went by, those same kids started answering "yes" to that question because they liked it so much.I have nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and even one great-great niece. I have 2 sons, 33- and 27-year-olds. My oldest son found the love of his life and they blessed me with my first grandchild, Warren, so of course had to dedicate this book to that perfect little person.I plan on writing more, if time allows and encourage everyone reading this to share your story that brings joy. The world definitely needs it.
