Autorenporträt

Dr Andrew Ross grew up in Sussex and his life-long interest in fossils enabled him to land his dream job as a Palaeontologist, firstly at the Natural History Museum in London and then at National Museums Scotland in Edinburgh. Also, for the past few years he has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Earth and Environmental Science Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He lives in the Scottish Borders with his wife and two daughters. This book is the result of many years of family history research that led to the discovery of a fascinating Highlander who had a remarkable life.
