Fortress agrees on one condition - Carter has to enroll in hero school. Carter hates superheroes, so this is the last place he wants to be. The students are too naive and have no idea about what real evil looks like. Most of the adults don't trust him. Everyone is scared of the hybrid. Yet, somehow, Fortress is convinced that Carter is hero material. All Carter wants is to get the alien hybrid under control before she accidentally kills someone and then get out of this place. However, things begin to change when his power is key in finding a lost child. He has new choices to make, but his power comes at a heavy cost and could destroy him.
