Moricka Burgess published her works, "Shadows" in the International Library of Poetry and the Long Island Chronicle. As a freelance writer for both Adelphi University and Howard "The Hilltop" University press she focused on topics ranging from ethnic and social issues. Throughout her life, she's directed organizing campaigns nationally and internationally promoting labor rights while using her artistry on projects as a writer and actor for religious institutions in New York. In 2005, she co-authored the influential collection of poems "Seasons, the Turning of Life" and its reprint "Seasons, beautifully, Me" in 2020. Her second book in the Don't Call Me Love book series, Suffer Lost Love is coming in 2025!
