Patty Hall is a mixed media artist and author. Patty was born and raised in rural Wisconsin and currently resides in the Chicago area. Though she is now located in a highly populated urban area, her heart still lives in the wild. Artwork has been a solid diet in her life; however her childhood love of reading has led her to an adult writing addiction. She writes and illustrates books that are visually stimulating and easy to read, offering tiny bits of insight and common sense sprinkled with a healthy dose of fantasy. ¿¿ Patty is highly creative and most of her original artwork is rooted in her love of nature. Although nature plays a large role in most of her artwork, most of her creations have a surreal tone. Patty has written and illustrated two books. Her first book Once... A Journey Through Life is a poem, a surreal story which is accompanied by a collection of artwork. Patty's second book; dragonsong is also poetry and artwork which combines her love of nature with her love of fantasy.
