Produktbeschreibung
The web documentary attempts to fully exploit the possibilities that the internet can offer a documentary communication format. The transmedially arranged content can be linked in a non-linear, network-like form and made available to the recipient in an interactive way. Compared to traditional documentary formats, the characteristics of transmediality, interactivity and non-linearity change the form of the content and its structure. This transforms the role of the passive consumer into that of an interactive user. Against this backdrop, a new dramaturgy for web documentaries must be created. Based on the theoretical foundations of documentary filmmaking, narratology and ludology, this thesis develops a dramaturgical concept that allows the documentary content of web documentaries to be arranged in a non-linear manner and made available dynamically.
Autorenporträt
