Their lives are forced into new and separate directions. Tommy abandons a promising career to enlist in the army and takes part in the D-Day landings. She is on a mission to achieve justice and her courage is tested many times. In the aftermath of war, will Tommy and Dora survive its devastating impact and will their lives ever be the same again?
