Produktbeschreibung
The central issue in this study on drug addiction is to investigate the possibilities for the analyst to, through his or her offer, assist the subject in producing a demand that enables the construction of an analytical symptom. To this end, we sought to discuss the different theoretical formulations that exist in psychoanalytic practice regarding drug addiction, identify the place that drugs occupy in contemporary society in relation to capitalist discourse, and analyse how psychoanalysis has been incorporated into the treatment modalities offered to drug users. The book is the result of questions that arose during practice at the Men's Emergency Room of the Juliano Moreira Specialised Hospital and at CAPSad Gregório de Matos, as a Resident Psychologist in the Clinical Psychology and Mental Health Programme. It is therefore justified, given the urgency that the issue of drugs has brought to the social sphere, as well as the contributions proposed to the treatment models offered to users of psychoactive substances.
