Autorenporträt
Nació en Úbeda, provincia de Jaén (España) el 15 de julio de 1952. Licenciado en Ciencias Biológicas por la Universidad de Barcelona el 17 de Marzo de 1979 y Doctor en Biología por la misma Universidad de Barcelona el 10 de julio de 1990. Ha publicado numerosos artículos en revistas científicas españolas y europeas especializadas en biología y zoología; así como artículos sobre temas de ciencia en diversos periódicos y revistas generales. Ha tomado parte en múltiples debates en programas de radio y TV y participado en numerosos Congresos Científicos en España y en el extranjero.
