There are other initiatives taken in this direction by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Consortium for Education Commission of the University Grants Commission (UGC), National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). They have developed interactive e-contents and some are also providing e-courses in the VLE. The book depicts about status of e-Learning in universities and aided colleges of U.P. (India).

El Dr. Vijay Jaiswal nació en 1975 y cursó estudios de máster en Física y Educación en la Universidad Poorvanchal de Jaunpur y en la Universidad B.H.U. de Benarés, respectivamente. En 2007 se doctoró en Educación por la Universidad C.S.J.M. de Kanpur (India). Actualmente trabaja como Profesor Asociado de Educación en la Universidad C.C.S., Meerut (India).
