His previous publications include Serializing Fiction in the Victorian Press (2000), editor of many Victorian novels including David Pae, Lucy the Factory Girl (2002) and joint-editor of The Collected Letters of Wilkie Collins Letters (2018). Jenny Bourne Taylor, Professor Emerita in Victorian Literature, University of Sussex, UK. Her previous publications include In the Secret Theatre of Home (1988), editor of Wilkie Collins, The Law and the Lady (1992) and joint-editor with John Kucich of Oxford History of the Novel in English: Vol. 3 1820-1880 (2012).
