Backstory: Many billions of years ago when the earth was still newly forming, four great powers took part in its creation, known as the elemental forces of air, water, fire and earth. Together these elemental beings pulled forth the mountains and carved out the rivers. Back then the rivers ran pure and the lands were lush and evergreen. For many, many years, all existed in harmony ... But something dark began to seep into the waters ... and the elemental races who had lived in harmony with nature were forced to flee and take refuge along the remote edges of the Earth Plane. This hidden land created to protect themeselves and what was left of the ancient wisdoms and ways, they called Muria. Time forgot the lands that had existed before, along with all its realms and creatures and Guardians, and what was once memory became myth. But a legend had long ago been written ... One that foretold of those in generations to come that would possess the power of the earth and stars combined. These Souls, it was said, would shift even the hands of planterary time, recover what had been lost, and together would end all darkness. Atalina Wright is a writer, poet and creator based in England. She spent her years working as an artist and studying metaphysics before becoming a full-time writer and author. She has since published Unbound, a collection of meditative poetry and essays. And has recently completed her debut children's novel EARTH KEEPERS. The first, in a series of high-adventure fantasy tales for middle-grade / YA readers.
